We have developed a number of “instant information” icons below that are shown on products throughout this web site. These icons will help you to easily identify the key environmental attributes of each product. We hope that you find them helpful.
- Products made from recycled materials.
- Products using organic ingredients or materials and that avoid synthetic fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides.
- Products that combine our strict eco-criteria with fair-trade principles but are either too small or haven't applied for official fair trade status.
- The 'tick tree' label means you can be sure the product comes from forests that have been independently certified for sustainable wood use.
- Highlights products that have met and exceed our strict eco-criteria. (Previously known as 'Gold Star' products).
- Guarantees that disadvantaged producers in the developing world are getting a better deal
