Mats Jonasson's talent to create unique forms of art glass developed when he started work as an apprentice engraver and then perfected his skills by working with many of the most respected contemporary glass artists in Sweden. He is inspired by the natural world around him and captures nature so effectively that it has attracted world-wide recognition.

Mats has introduced the technique of hand-painting to create exciting new sculptural collections, using organic paints which are fired onto the crystal in the final process of production. Once you start collecting Mats Jonasson's pieces there is always room for another!
