Bright and bold, hand made, lokta, wrapping paper with star design made specially for us in Nepal and ideal for present wrapping.

Lokta paper is made according to traditional methods from the bark of the Daphne bush which is known as 'Lokta'. It is found above 6500ft altitudes of the Himalayan region of Nepal. This is a door-to-door industry where a large number of women and men are involved and which helps to improve the Nepalese standard of living of rural and urban areas of low income families. It has inherent natural resistance to insects. The paper is of fine texture, strong and can be preserved for some time.
