From Mulberry Mongoose’s workshop in South Luangwa, Zambia, local craftswomen use snare wire recovered from poaching traps to create jewellery designs inspired by the African bush. Each jewellery purchase supports our courageous team and their families, and raises funds for local conservation efforts to protect Zambia's breath-taking wildlife.
These bracelets are designed with snare coil beads expertly hand crafted from reclaimed poachers’ traps.
The clasps and metal jump rings are meticulously made by local artisans from stainless steel bought at local Zambian hardware stores. The Paracord has a breaking force of 340 kg ensuring the bracelets are hard wearing and waterproof.
With each sale a donation is given to anti snare patrols in the South Luangwa, Zambia; Mulberry Mongoose have made over $146,000 for conservation from jewellery sales to date. These bracelets are designed to remain a constant on your wrist as a powerful reminder of your passion for Africa & conservation.
