Louise Jones

"A koala, which is an Aboriginal word meaning ‘no water or no drink’, draped in her natural habitat and food source of the Eucalyptus leaves, symbolises the mass loss of native Australian flora and fauna in the recent devastating Australian bushfires. This catastrophic event was a global wake up call that climate change is well and truly upon us and we need a global effort to restore our planet Earth."

Louise Jones is a Melbourne-based designer specialising in original artwork for fabric, interiors and soft furnishings. Her designs are characterised by bursts of colour, botanical motifs and bold shapes.
